2003 SCCA CLUB RACING RULE CHANGES

NOTICE: The following cumulative summary of the 2001 SCCA Club Racing rule changes has been compiled for the convenience of the reader. It is NOT an official document. For a specific rule change, reference must be made to the indicated FasTrack, Racing Bulletin or Tech Bulletin. All material contained in this document has been copyrighted by the Sports Car Club of America. TB 03-04 Eff 4/1/03 D.1.e.3 Add to the end of the paragraph:
General Motors SB-2 cylinder heads are
permitted.

TB 03-05 Eff 5/1/03 D.1.e.3 Add after the end of the first
sentence: All Pro cylinder head, P/N
270-LM-13, is permitted.

TB 03-08 Eff 8/1/03 D.8.a.11.B.5 Replace the entire section with the
following: Trans-Am Wing Assembly
Specs: Unmodified single element
Liebeck airfoil P/N 1LD104E scaled to a
chord length of 10.75". The maximum
cross-sectional tolerance of the wing
profile is 0.060". A maximum 0.50"
Gurney tab is allowed at the trailing
edge of the wing element. The tab must
be mounted 90 degrees to the upper wing
surface. No air may pass between the
tab and the wing. The wing endplates
must fit within a rectangle measuring
11.00" long by 4.00" tall. No portion
of the wing element or tab may extend
beyond the perimeter of the endplate.
The endplates must be mounted parallel
to the vehicle centerline and must be
perpendicular to the ground. Endplates
must be flat, with no curvature or
Gurney tabs. The maximum width of the
entire wing assembly (wing element,
endplates, Gurney tab and mounting
hardware) is 72.00"

TB 03-08 Eff 8/1/03 D.8.a.11.B.6 Replace the first sentence with the
following: Wing Mounting Specs: The
entire wing assembly must be mounted at
least 2.00" below the peak of the roof
(measured at the vehicle centerline).

TB 03-04 Eff 4/1/03 E.1.b.1 At to the end: GM engines using the SB-
2 cylinder head shall add 130 lbs.

TB 03-03 Eff 3/1/03 GT1 p 31 Modify General Motors Corporation
Pontiac Fiero as follows: 3300cc
(4cyl) multi carb and fuel injection,
